About The Position

CPI Security is seeking a Lead Qualification Representative to work at its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role is the first point of contact for inbound and web inquiries, including live chat. The representative engages prospects, assesses their interest, and ensures qualified opportunities are handed off to the appropriate sales team or department with complete and accurate information. The position emphasizes prompt, professional, and caring communication, compliance with contact regulations and best practices, and high-quality customer care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–3 years of previous telemarketing or phone sales experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and people skills.
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Comfort engaging prospects by phone, chat, and other inbound channels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Coachability and a desire to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to inbound and web inquiries, including live chat.
Cultivate initial engagement with prospects to generate qualified opportunities.
Qualify incoming leads to support an effective handoff to the sales team.
Develop and follow a process for transferring qualified leads to the appropriate department.
Pass qualified leads to the sales team with complete and accurate information.
Ensure contact strategies comply with regulations and best practices.
Provide high-quality customer care in all interactions.
