About The Position

CPI Security is seeking a Lead Qualification Representative to work at its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The representative is the first point of contact for inbound and web inquiries, including live chat. The role engages prospects, qualifies their interest, and passes appropriate opportunities to the sales team with complete and accurate information. The position calls for prompt, professional, and engaging communication, careful attention to contact regulations and best practices, and a strong focus on customer care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of previous telemarketing or phone sales experience.
• Strong communication, customer service, and people skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Comfort engaging prospects by phone, chat, and other inbound channels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Coachability and a desire to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound and web inquiries, including live chat.
• Engage prospects to generate qualified opportunities.
• Qualify incoming leads and ensure an effective handoff to the sales team.
• Develop and follow a process for transferring qualified leads to the appropriate department.
• Provide the sales team with complete, accurate information about qualified leads.
• Follow applicable regulations and best practices for contact strategies.
• Provide excellent customer care in all interactions.
