The Lead Public Safety Telecommunicator is designed to formally recognize communications center employees who have demonstrated advanced knowledge and sustained performance in their role. To qualify, an employee must have a minimum of three (3) years of continuous full-time service as a Public Safety Telecommunicator II within the Flagler County Emergency Communications Center. This classification is not a supervisory rank; however, individuals designated as a Lead PST may serve as the Acting Supervisor in the absence of a Shift Supervisor.
