About The Position

Saab, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Program Performance Management Analyst to support our rapidly growing organization. This position is eligible for full-time remote. This key role requires a candidate skilled in MS Project and has a proven track record of success managing complex schedules and partnering with stakeholders to ensure program execution.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a business, engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years’ experience in a technical, business, military, professional or U.S. Government Contractor environment.
  • MS Project, MS Office Suite, Deltek Cobra, Integrating Scheduling Data with Manpower, EVMS, and Proposal Support Systems
  • IMP/IMS Development and Maintenance on DoD programs with EVM requirements
  • Critical Path Analysis and Slack Management
  • Variance Analysis
  • EVMS Concepts including Analysis and Corrective Actions
  • Ability to Function at a Positive & High Level in a Team Environment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the program cost and/or schedule baselines within the contract parameters.
  • Analyze program performance (historical and predictive).
  • Monitor the contract/program Estimate at Complete (EAC) while reviewing results with and making recommendations to program teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the guidance and mentoring of program teams and Program Performance Management (PPM) staff in program management tools and processes.
  • Integrate subcontractor and material cost and schedules data into program data.
  • Perform advanced analysis in the contract/program Estimate at Complete (EAC), Management Reserve, Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely program review documents to senior leadership.
  • Reconcile program data with the latest contract modifications.
  • Define requirements to solve common business problems.
  • Foster an environment of trust and teamwork: build collaborative relationships internally and externally.
  • Interface with multiple IPT leads and PMs across multiple geographic locations.
  • Demonstrate EVMS compliance through audits.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and customers.
  • Support other programs with expertise during critical time frames.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for coordination and accuracy of timely program deliverables.
  • Act as change agent, challenge the status quo.
  • Lead the development of the detailed IMP and IMS to meet all contract and program objectives and support the integration of cost and schedule data.
  • Ensure advanced schedule techniques (health and quality checks, resource loading, critical path analysis, and risk analysis) are applied effectively to drive proactive decisions.
  • Ensure major projects and program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated and resolve network logic conflicts.
  • Create and analyze program milestone charts.
  • Create and manage WBS, IMP, and IMS for proposals.
  • Mentor and train employees in planning and scheduling best practices.
  • Lead efforts to automate processes to solve common business problems.
  • Lead the design of tests to evaluate new EVM and/or schedule tools, analyze test results, and make recommendations to support operational improvement.
  • Lead the incorporation of new EVM and/or schedule tools.
  • Lead tool re-design to improve performance.
  • Train analysts in the EVM and schedule tools.
  • Serve as a senior resource to other analysts in developing solutions that meet complex business requirements.
  • Lead process changes to improve overall efficiency of program performance management function.
