About The Position

National Vision is seeking experienced Lead Production Lab Technicians for its growing optical manufacturing facility in Plano, Texas. Lead technicians process orders through production and are proficient in all tasks within their assigned department, including Inventory and AR. They assist a Supervisor with workflow, efficient use of personnel, and department operations, and help train and develop associates. Duties may include operating equipment, performing database work, resolving errors, locating hot jobs, addressing breakage, and monitoring processes to meet production goals.

The role is offered on the 2B evening shift, Wednesday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., with four days off each week. Pay includes base pay, a 10% shift differential, and opportunities for extra biweekly bonuses.

Requirements

• At least one year of direct or related experience.
• Prior optical background with mass production experience.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Process orders through production and perform all tasks within the assigned department.
• Assist a Supervisor with workflow, efficient utilization of personnel, and department operations.
• Assist with training and development of associates.
• Operate equipment, perform database work, and resolve errors as needed.
• Locate hot jobs and address breakage.
