About The Position

National Vision is seeking experienced Lead Production Lab Technicians for its growing optical manufacturing facility in Plano, Texas. Lead technicians in the Inventory and AR Departments process orders through production and are proficient in all tasks within their department. They assist a Supervisor with workflow, efficient use of personnel, and department operations, and help train and develop associates.

The position is on the 2B evening shift, Wednesday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., with four days off each week. Compensation includes base pay, a 10% shift differential, and opportunities for extra biweekly bonuses.

Requirements

• At least one year of direct or related experience.
• Prior optical background with mass production experience.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Process orders through production.
• Perform all tasks within the assigned department.
• Assist a Supervisor with workflow, efficient utilization of personnel, and department operations.
• Assist with training and development of associates.
• Perform duties that may include equipment operation, database work, resolving errors, locating hot jobs, handling breakage, and monitoring processes to meet production goals.
