Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shift Lead
  • 3-5 years of experience leading a team of 4-10+ people
  • 5-8 years of experience on a Sit-down 10k+ forklift
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associate
  • Ability to develop and play a team member role with other plant members.
  • Can functionally use a tape measure.
  • Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word
  • Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Complies with and enforces all company safety policies to ensure accident-free facility, which includes, but is not limited to, assisting in identifying and correcting machine and work area safety issues, as well as conducting accident investigations as required
  • Provides direction to all production team members to ensure all key metrics are met accurately and in a timely manner
  • Performs routine line checks several times daily to ensure efficiency and to check on progress of machine, production and personnel
  • Interacts with other shift Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Production Staff to achieve smooth production runs.
  • Ensures all components and paperwork for next schedule are ready
  • Performs other related duties as required
