About The Position

The Lead Production Assembler is a working lead who guides a team of three to seven assemblers building digital security seals and devices. The Lead assembles products alongside the team while coordinating daily work, assisting with assignments, training new assemblers, and serving as the first point of contact for issues on the production floor. The role helps maintain quality and output targets and supports a dependable, high-performing team. The position involves assembling products to standardized work instructions, handling PCBAs and ESD-sensitive components, performing in-process inspections and functional checks, and using tablets and computers linked to the ERP system for job sign-in, scrap reporting, and product traceability. The Lead also monitors team output and first-pass quality, supports production reporting and continuous improvement, and helps ensure adherence to standardized work, quality, traceability, and safety procedures. The work requires fine motor skills and repetitive hand and wrist motion, close-vision acuity, and standing assembly at height-adjustable workstations with anti-fatigue padding. ESD controls and designated PPE are required at all workstations. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds may be required.
