About The Position

The Production Assembler performs production tasks in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Work includes picking components and gathering supplies, sub-assemblies, finished products, and packaging products. The role supports Lokar’s production operations by assembling and packaging products according to manufacturer directions and specifications, completing work based on work orders and production schedules, and maintaining production and inventory documentation. The assembler reports quality, process, equipment, and material problems to the Production Manager, works safely and keeps the work area clean, and stages assembled products neatly. The role also includes cross-training, completing repairs as needed, and other duties assigned as needed. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary.
Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently.
Hand strength required for hand-cutting tools and various fastening tools.
Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute.

Responsibilities

Complete work tasks according to work orders and production schedules.
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Manager.
Complete inventory and production documentation.
Work safely and maintain a clean work area by following procedures, rules, and company policies.
Stage assembled products in a neat and orderly fashion.
Participate in cross-training by learning and teaching tasks and positions.
Complete repairs as necessary.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.
