About The Position

Tonal is seeking a Healthcare Product Marketing Manager to lead their product go-to-market launch into the healthcare space. This role will own the strategy and execution for bringing products to market, shaping positioning, and collaborating with sales, product, and clinical teams to accelerate growth. The position sits at the intersection of consumer technology, digital health, clinical care, and AI-driven personalized training, with the opportunity to influence the future of strength training as medicine. Tonal is building a platform to connect its technology with clinicians, healthcare providers, and partners to deliver measurable health outcomes, transforming from a fitness platform into a clinical-grade health technology platform.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of healthcare buyer personas (providers, payers, health systems, etc.)
  • Experience building GTM strategies for products in HIPAA-compliant environments within healthcare ecosystems such as providers, employers, or payers
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient engagement, and healthcare provider tools
  • Proven track record of developing GTM strategies that drive measurable revenue impact
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
  • Collaborative, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Background in healthcare, health tech, or a related industry strongly preferred
  • Experience launching digital therapeutics or clinical-grade consumer health products
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7
  • Experience working with clinical research or outcomes studies
  • Background in healthcare, biomedical engineering, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tonal sales and marketing entry into the healthcare channel
  • Own go-to-market strategy for healthcare-focused products and initiatives
  • Develop compelling positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to healthcare buyers and stakeholders
  • Partner with sales to create trade show, field sales, sales journey, nurture and enablement materials, playbooks, and competitive insights that drive pipeline and conversion
  • Partner with the E-commerce team to build a compelling Tonal Healthcare website and assets to tell the story and drive and capture demand
  • Collaborate with product teams to influence roadmap priorities based on market and customer insights
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
  • Define and track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and contribution to revenue
  • Work cross-functionally with demand gen, content, and clinical teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels
