Lead Product Manager, Recall Engagement

NCC/ProMax•, (Multiple States)

About The Position

NCC is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to own Recall Engagement, a net-new initiative that turns a safety obligation into a revenue and retention opportunity for automotive dealerships. Recall Engagement uses AI and data forensics to detect open safety bulletins, resolve hard-to-find secondary owners, and orchestrate personalized multi-channel outreach, turning recall campaigns dealers are already obligated to run into service visits and long-term customer loyalty instead of unclaimed liability. This is a zero-to-one build: you will own discovery through launch for a new capability with an identified $51.4M SOM opportunity across roughly 3,568 dealer rooftops, sitting alongside Co-op Submission, Warranty Submission, Trade-In AI Valuation, and Desking Engine in NCC's New Product Initiatives pillar. This is a high-impact role for a product leader who thrives on ambiguity, AI-native product delivery, and building a net-new product from validated hypothesis to shipped revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of product management experience, including direct ownership of at least one zero-to-one or early-stage product launch.
  • Experience building AI-native products, where AI is the core value proposition rather than a bolt-on feature.
  • Proven ability to build business cases and financial models (TAM/SOM, ROI) that support investment decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with SQL, dashboards, and product analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to distill ambiguous market signals into a clear, persuasive narrative for executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive retail technology, dealership service/fixed-ops software, recall, retention, or insurance/warranty claims products.
  • Familiarity with vehicle history or safety-bulletin data sources (NHTSA, Carfax, AutoCheck, or similar) and multi-source data matching.
  • Background in customer retention, lifecycle marketing, or multi-channel outreach automation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Recall Engagement from discovery through general availability.
  • Define the business case, including TAM/SOM sizing, ROI projections, and a build/partner assessment for data sources such as NHTSA safety bulletin data and vehicle/owner history providers.
  • Set success metrics for outreach conversion, service-visit capture rate, and retention lift.
  • Represent Recall Engagement strategy to executive leadership and secure resourcing and buy-in.
  • Conduct dealer interviews and service-drive observation to validate the recall-to-retention workflow before committing to build.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to assess feasibility of multi-layered data matching across vehicle databases and secondary-owner resolution.
  • Write clear specs and acceptance criteria for the dedicated NPI Engineering Pod.
  • Own launch readiness, including sales enablement, support documentation, and rollout sequencing.
  • Partner with Marketing on go-to-market strategy and positioning against existing service-retention tools dealers may already use.
  • Coordinate with the Compliance Audit and Co-op Submission product managers within NPI to share data infrastructure and avoid duplicate build.
  • Continuously assess technical, market, and adoption risk, and recommend.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Unrestricted PTO
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Professional development opportunities and continuous training.
  • A supportive and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
