About the position
As a leader in the Product organization, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap for a global money transfer service, ensuring seamless movement of money for customers worldwide. Working closely with various teams, including engineering, finance, operations, compliance, and marketing, you will drive the development of a comprehensive, fast, and cost-efficient payment system. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management, particularly in payments or consumer apps, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey qualitative and quantitative results to different stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical business initiatives, gather customer insights, and continuously improve the customer experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for seamless movement of money for customers globally
- Manage all aspects of customer payments and fund usage
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, operations, compliance, and marketing teams
- Lead mission critical business initiatives from discovery to delivery
- Define product requirements with cross-functional subject matter experts
- Write high-quality product requirements for new initiatives
- Monitor data and customer feedback to assess the success of roadmap initiatives
- Identify opportunities for iteration and improvement
- Provide ongoing visibility of roadmap initiatives and priorities to the company
- Communicate qualitative and quantitative results to various audiences
- Have experience in payment systems and emerging payment technologies
- Gather customer insights and translate them into customer journeys
- Demonstrate deep empathy for customers and identify areas for improvement
- Take ownership of projects and outcomes
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- 6+ years experience as a product manager, with 2+ years experience with payments or consumer apps or both
- Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly and succinctly to all audiences
- Experience in payment systems such as card payments, bank transfers, mobile wallets, and emerging payment technologies
- Experience gathering customer insights and translating them into world-class customer journeys
- Deep empathy for customers, constantly identifying friction points and opportunities for improvement
- Owner mentality, taking ownership of outcomes
- Excited to work in a fun, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and competing deadlines
