Lead Frontend Engineer (Hybrid)

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions to business problems. Your role will involve collaborating with other engineers to determine the best systems for each problem, while also mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations to deliver business value. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse tech stack, including modern programming languages and frameworks, and gain experience in microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud computing. This role also emphasizes continuous learning and development, with opportunities for conference attendance and professional development initiatives.

Design and implement technical solutions to business problems

Collaborate with other engineers to build systems for various problems

Mentor junior developers

Work with Product Management, Analytics, and Operations to deliver business value

Tackle a variety of tasks including designing microservices, operational issues, production debugging, risk mitigation and management

Pair with others outside of your immediate team to accomplish tasks

Experience a diverse tech stack including React, Vue, Ruby on Rails, and Golang

Work with microservices architecture and containerization using tools like Kubernetes

Utilize AWS Cloud Services for cloud computing

Work with modern databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB

Deploy continuously through CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and Jenkins

Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

Follow Scrum and Agile methodologies in workflow

Invest in continuous learning and development

Experience rapid deployment with multiple live deployments per day

Have 5+ years of experience in a full stack development role

Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages

Ability to solve problems in more than one language

• Project management skills, including overseeing projects end-to-end, estimating work, and breaking up problems into deliverable parts
