Lead, Product Management-Technical

The Customer Connectivity Reactive Services Architecture Program (“RSA”) was created to allow Mastercard developers to focus on their business requirements while RSA takes care of the non-functional requirements related to event and message management. As a Lead Product Management-Technical in RSA, you will be responsible for developing a product roadmap, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends. You will decompose business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap while working alongside a cross-functional team.
Requirements
- Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting your product
- Understand and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases
- Proficient at grooming user stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog
- Understand the technologies supporting the platform product and are able to hold your own in debates cross-functionally
- Verbal and written communication is clear and concise
Responsibilities
- Identifies gaps and new platform capabilities as required
- Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs
- Uses runtime metrics of their services in market as a feedback loop in to the backlog and balances the priorities against new feature requests
- Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams
- Digests business customer requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set
- Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level
- Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
- Prepares launches and monitors platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
- Coordinates internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities
- Owns and manages product documentation; enables self-service support and/or works to reduce overhead
