As a Lead Process Engineer, you will lead and support a team of engineers, technicians, and specialists in a high-mix, low-volume, and prototyping environment where priorities shift quickly. You will troubleshoot and drive to root cause on production challenges in real time, working directly with operators to resolve tolerance, fixturing, and process issues. You will develop and refine build plans, ensuring parts move efficiently through punching, forming, machining, welding, and coating. You will create and improve clear, practical work instructions that drive consistency and quality on the floor. You will oversee and optimize CAM programs to improve setup efficiency, repeatability, and throughput. You will mentor engineers and technicians, raising the technical capability and problem-solving skills of the team. You will specify and procure new equipment, helping drive long-term capability, capacity, and process improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include leading engineers, associate engineers, and technicians in the expansion, development, deployment, and sustainment of manufacturing processes. You will mentor and coach other engineers and technicians. You will assist management in developing and driving the execution of operational and strategic objectives. You will drive high quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes, operations, and tools. You will manage or prepare documentation, including experiments, component and equipment qualifications, assembly materials qualifications, etc. You will model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Other duties as assigned.
