About The Position

The Intel Foundry Manufacturing Development and Customer Engineering (MDCE) and Logic Technology development (LTD) organizations delivers process technology innovation to drive Intel's product roadmap. MDCE/LTD Semiconductor Senior Process Integration Development Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures but not limited to: Led scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process Participate in the development of intellectual property Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology.

Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) field of study
  • 4+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Semiconductor processing, Semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor processing or device fabrication and/or nanotechnology
  • Electrical characterization of transistors or other semiconductor devices
  • Experience leading projects and leading cross-functional teams
  • Design of experiments
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Computational Data Skills

Responsibilities

  • Led scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures
  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process
  • Participate in the development of intellectual property
