Lead Principal Technical Program Manager

Oracle•United States,

About The Position

Oracle Health is hiring a Lead Principal Technical Program Manager for a new, greenfield line of business focused on building cloud-centric applications and a world-class engineering center. The role leads cross-functional teams through the planning and design of technical solutions in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative environment. It relies on influence rather than authority to move projects forward and requires both strategic and hands-on leadership. The TPM defines project scope, plans schedules and delivery, leads status and working meetings, distributes progress reports, manages risks and issues, corrects deviations, and monitors projects from initiation through delivery. The role coordinates interdepartmental work to complete projects on schedule and within budget, and assigns and monitors work by systems analysis and program staff while providing technical direction and support. The position works closely with program and product management, peers, developers, customers, and partner organizations to understand business and customer needs, deliver appropriate products and solutions, and evolve existing capabilities. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving and business judgment, experience working with hybrid and geographically distributed teams, and the ability to mentor, coach, collaborate, and build teams. Oracle Health’s mission is to improve healthcare and quality of life globally through better experiences and easier access to health and research data.
