Responsibilities

  • Align product development and prioritization with strategic-customer needs, company goals, workload patterns, and market signals; own and continuously evolve a clear, prioritized roadmap that drives product success from conception through launch and beyond.
  • Build deep relationships with strategic customer executives, architects, and engineering leaders to understand priorities, target architectures, adoption barriers, and operational requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver scalable capabilities that meet customer needs with industry-leading reliability, security, performance, and price-performance.
  • Lead design-partner, early-adopter, and beta programs that validate product direction, accelerate production deployments, and generate reusable customer patterns.
  • Translate customer insights into product requirements, product specifications, reference architectures, and roadmap investments; create and review product documentation, including design and functional specifications and product collateral, while distinguishing repeatable product opportunities from account-specific requests.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery through launch, field readiness, and adoption; communicate effectively with internal partners across teams and maintain clear success measures, decisions, risks, and owners.
  • Maintain a current view of the AI/ML, Cloud Native, and Dedicated Cloud competitive landscape to sharpen OCI differentiation and product strategy.
  • Provide leadership with clear recommendations on roadmap priorities, investment decisions, customer commitments, and strategic tradeoffs.
  • Enable the field with validated architectures, deployment patterns, operational best practices, collateral, and executive narratives; represent OCI with customers, partners, analysts, and industry audiences.
  • Mentor and coach product managers and peers, raising the quality of product thinking, customer insight, and decision-making across the team.
