About The Position
The Lead Preschool Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers while supporting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The stated work week is Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Lead Teacher pay range is $15.89–$16.51, with bi-weekly and daily pay options.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
