About The Position

KitchFix is seeking a Lead PM Cook to manage the back of house operations at the St. Louis Cardinals’ Player Development Complex at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, FL. This role is responsible for leading the kitchen from 2:00 PM through close on home game nights, including prepping and executing pre-game fuel and post-game meals. During away weeks and the off-season, the role shifts to morning schedules for batch cooking, recipe development, and deep prep. This is a year-round, full-time position offering variety and opportunities for skill development in a professional sports environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and close a kitchen independently.
  • Solid professional kitchen experience with strong fundamentals in both hot and cold production.
  • Availability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and select holidays during the baseball season.
  • Ability to commute to Jupiter, FL.
  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in batch cooking and large-format production.
  • Knowledge of sports nutrition or a strong interest in learning.
  • Previous experience within a training facility, team dining room, or athletic program.
  • Familiarity with baseball culture or a genuine curiosity about it.

Responsibilities

  • Run the back of house independently from 2:00 PM through close on home game nights.
  • Prep and execute the post-BP mini meal for PBC players, including hot and cold options.
  • Prep and fire the post-game meal, consisting of a condensed hot buffet, composed salad, and fruit cups, served in to-go boxes.
  • Manage kitchen timing and staging based on game length.
  • Oversee kitchen closing procedures, including cleaning, securing, and resetting for the morning shift.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality and execution throughout the evening service.
  • Shift to morning schedules during away weeks and off-season for batch cooking, sauce production, and advance prep.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef on menu development, recipe testing, and process improvements during off-peak times.
  • Perform deep cleaning, equipment upkeep, and kitchen project work during away weeks and off-season.
