About The Position

The PM Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dinner and evening menu items to the high-quality standards of the Dellshire Resort. This position supports the evening culinary operations across resort outlets, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to established recipes and presentation standards. The PM Cook plays a key role in providing a memorable dining experience by maintaining exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork throughout the kitchen.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of professional cooking experience in a resort, hotel, or full-service restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of dinner service timing, production, and plating techniques.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately while managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, motivated, and team oriented.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures; ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demand.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate all dinner and evening menu items in accordance with resort standards and recipes.
  • Set up and stock all line stations prior to service and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared, portioned, and presented accurately and consistently.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, including proper labeling, dating, and storage of food products.
  • Maintain proper temperature controls for hot and cold items during preparation and service.
  • Assist in daily prep work, stock rotation, and closing duties.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, chefs, and other kitchen team members to ensure timely service.
  • Support banquet or special event operations as assigned by culinary leadership.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or repair needs immediately.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment, supporting coworkers and assisting as needed.
  • Ensure the kitchen and back-of-house areas are cleaned and sanitized at the end of each shift.
  • Uphold Dellshire Resort’s culinary standards for quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
