The Lead Patient Service Representative for Women's Health at Johnson Memorial Health is responsible for comprehensive patient check-in and check-out procedures within a physician's office. This includes greeting patients, verifying and inputting demographic and insurance information, overseeing the registration process, preparing medical charts, printing superbills, scheduling appointments, and collecting co-pays and balances. The role also involves providing information on financial assistance, coordinating appointments for uninsured patients, managing petty cash, handling service recovery, and providing training and ongoing education to new non-clinical staff regarding insurance, registration, and scheduling updates. Additionally, the Lead PSR oversees referrals, coordinates Workman's Compensation cases, and ensures compliance with JMHPN policies, including patient termination procedures. The position requires adherence to applicable laws, regulations, standards, and JMH policies, including Blood and Body Substance Precautions.
