About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Lead Parking Transport Services professional to act as the lead resource for families, visitors, and staff, independently providing valet services at the valet station. This role is crucial for managing ramp operations, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing staffing at the valet station. The position involves reporting on shift activities, monitoring service delivery, and assisting with training new staff. Responsibilities

  • Fulfill all key responsibilities of a Valet Attendant.
  • Lead employee for ramp management at valet station, including traffic flow, cleanliness, and staffing.
  • Report shift activity for valet station, including volume, attendance tracking, excessive wait times, operational controls, supply inventory, and accidents.
  • Lead employees for monitoring service delivery at valet station, ensuring uniform integrity, opening doors, using names, and providing directions.
  • Assist with training staff new to the valet station.
  • Independently perform non-routine tasks that significantly impact the team and other related teams.
  • Gather and analyze data to solve problems that arise with little or no precedent.
  • Serve as a lead for the team by providing expertise and guidance to team members.
