About The Position

Under the supervision of an assigned Nutrition Services Supervisor, the Lead Nutrition Services employee leads and participates in preparing and selling food products. The role coordinates related inventory, sanitation, and record-keeping functions and trains assigned personnel while providing work direction and guidance. This is an internal vacancy available only to current school district employees. Applicants must have passed the six-month probationary period in their current position before applying.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school and two years of increasingly responsible food service experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Adhere to the annual minimum required training hours for School Nutrition Staff under the USDA Guide to Professional Standards for School Nutrition Programs.
• Hold and maintain a current ServSafe certificate or equivalent under the California Retail Food Code.
• Be a current employee of the school district and have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position.

Responsibilities
