About The Position

Under the supervision of the Supervisor- Plant, the Grounds Maintenance employee performs a variety of grounds maintenance and gardening duties to beautify assigned grounds and landscaped areas at a high school site. This is an internal vacancy available only to current school district employees. Applicants must have passed the six-month probationary period in their current position before applying. The position is listed as 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and one year of grounds maintenance or irrigation installation and repair experience.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Must be a current employee of the school district and have passed the six-month probationary period in the current position.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance and gardening duties to beautify assigned grounds and landscaped areas at an assigned high school site.
