About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Lead Nutrition Services Assistant at Paloma Valley High School. The role involves working 8 hours a day for 10 months a year, totaling 186 days. The work hours are typically from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, but are subject to change due to internal transfers. The anticipated start date is the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Three (3) years of nutrition services experience, preferably in a public setting.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required (will be required at the time of hire).

• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nutrition services staff.
• Oversee daily operations of the nutrition services department.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Assist with menu planning and preparation.
