Lead Nursing Ops Supp Rep
About The Position
The Lead Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative provides training, oversight, and operational efficiencies for NOS Representatives across all units. The role maintains NOS Representative schedules by assigning work, coordinating shift assignments, and adjusting staffing schedules to ensure coverage. The Lead NOS Representative serves as a resource and subject matter expert on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members. The position answers general questions, provides information and way-finding assistance, and supports unit operations. It also guides individuals to other OSF facilities or service areas, coordinates and may assist with patient transport, provides directions to local areas, and advises people about nearby accommodations and amenities. The role uses various software to provide assistance and complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of experience as a Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative, Patient Care Liaison, Patient Experience Concierge, or in a similar role with like responsibilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of prior customer service experience.
- Prior experience with ProNet, Vocera, and Epic.
