About The Position

Our innovative Podiatry Center is looking for a dynamic Lead Medical Assistant to lead our talented team and keep our operations running like clockwork. This role involves working alongside and leading Medical Assistants and Doctors in caring for patients, interviewing, training, and scheduling medical assistants while fostering a positive team culture. The Lead Medical Assistant will also conduct weekly meetings, ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards, oversee patient flow, manage back-office stations, maintain quality control, and monitor equipment and supplies. This position offers the opportunity to grow clinically and professionally in a physician-led, mission-driven care environment.

Requirements

Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in healthcare or medical office management is required
A proactive, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Comfort using Windows 10, EMRs (AthenaOne preferred), Office 365/Microsoft Suite, and VOIP phone systems

Responsibilities

Work alongside and lead Medical Assistants and Doctors in caring for patients in our office
Interview, train, and schedule medical assistants while fostering a positive team culture
Conduct weekly meetings, ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards
Oversee patient flow, manage back-office stations, and maintain quality control
Monitor equipment, supplies, and ensure everything is ready for top-notch patient care
Work closely with doctors and the Practice Manager to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient experiences
