AECOM is seeking a Lead Mechanical Project Manager to be based in Las Vegas, NV. This role involves managing all mechanical activities for assigned projects, from pre-construction through closeout and warranty enforcement. The position serves as the primary mechanical contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring mechanical infrastructure aligns with project objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing the installation of critical mechanical systems, monitoring contractor performance, conducting field inspections, and coordinating with various teams (electrical, civil, architectural, commissioning). The role also involves providing technical guidance, administering client and AECOM policies, and ensuring projects meet design, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Additionally, the Lead Mechanical Project Manager will work with commissioning agents and contractors to ensure successful commissioning, phased start-up, and turnover. This includes monitoring progress, processing construction documentation, providing engineering support, attending site meetings, coordinating with Project Controls, reviewing pay applications, and working with the OFCI firm to document and manage off-site stored equipment.
