About The Position

Complete Building Services (CBS), a division of The Donohoe Companies, is hiring a Lead Mechanic to support maintenance of the World War II Memorial. The Lead Mechanic oversees the operation, maintenance, and general upkeep of equipment to ensure that systems function efficiently. The role includes maintaining fountains, pools, lights, walkways, public restrooms, fire alarm systems, and lighting controls; treating and testing fountain water daily; maintaining equipment below the fountains; and overseeing contractors. The position pays $30.00 or more per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday hours as needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check.
• Excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and general upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain fountains, pools, lights, walkways, public restrooms, fire alarm systems, and lighting controls.
• Treat and test fountain water daily.
• Maintain pumps, lights, and ventilation equipment below the fountains.
• Oversee contractors.
