About The Position

SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Lead Material Coordinator to support an opportunity at Randolph AFB in Texas. The role performs depot material control and supply functions while leading contract personnel assigned to the task order. The Lead Material Coordinator oversees daily operations, work assignments, employee performance, training and certification, safety reporting, and coordination of material support activities. The position serves as the primary contact for coordination and communication with Government supervision and management.

Requirements

Previous experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, preferably in supply, material control, tool control, logistics, or depot operations.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to pass a background check.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with contractor personnel, Government representatives, supervisors, and management.
Ability to maintain accurate records and strict accountability of tools, equipment, and materials.
Ability to work independently while leading and coordinating a team.

Responsibilities

Perform depot material control and supply functions.
Provide leadership, oversight, and direction for contract personnel assigned to the task order.
Monitor employee performance to support timely completion of assigned tasks and production support requirements.
Receive, delegate, and assign work based on employees’ skills, qualifications, and capabilities.
Ensure contract personnel are available, properly certified, and adequately trained for assigned duties.
Monitor daily operations for compliance with task order requirements and established procedures.
Report workplace accidents, incidents, and other safety-related events as required.
Attend required meetings and communicate relevant operational information to personnel and management.
Coordinate daily activities and material support functions with the site supervisor.
Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination and communication with Government supervision and management.
