Requirements

Five (5) years of experience in public works in a maintenance capacity
Experience maintaining and overseeing grounds maintenance
Experience maintaining commercial landscape projects
Experience maintaining irrigation systems
Experience maintaining construction maintenance
Ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial driver's license
Ability to pass a drug screen
Ability to pass a physical

Nice To Haves

Leadership qualities
Experience in leading personnel in the performance and structure of landscape and/or street maintenance is desirable
A tank endorsement may be required of some positions
Employees in these classes may be required to work varying shifts and extended hours including evenings and weekends
Safety regulations prohibit incumbents from wearing contact lenses when working with certain chemicals
Incumbents in positions requiring use of a respirator are prohibited from wearing beards or other facial hair which prevents a proper respirator fit
