About The Position

PLK Communities, an owner and manager of residential apartment communities, is seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician for Thirty43 by the Greene. This hands-on leadership role maintains the physical integrity and safety of the community and addresses property maintenance needs, including grounds and common areas. The technician prepares apartments for new residents, completes work orders, ensures proper trash removal and disposal, and provides leadership, guidance, and development for the community maintenance team. HVAC service and repair are part of the role, and the employer is willing to train. The position requires participation in an on-call rotation and responding to after-hours emergency calls.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of multi-family or apartment maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Knowledge of plumbing.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide and use tools including a hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, and flashlight.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.
