About The Position

PLK Communities, an owner and manager of residential apartment communities, is seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician for Thirty43 by the Greene. This hands-on leadership role maintains the physical integrity and safety of the community, handles property and grounds maintenance, and prepares apartments for new residents. The technician completes work orders, services and repairs HVAC systems (with training available), and ensures trash is properly removed and disposed of. The role also provides leadership, guidance, and development for the community maintenance team and participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of multifamily or apartment maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or lead experience.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Plumbing skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Tools: hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multimeter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, and flashlight.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.
