About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Lead Line Cook to join its hospitality team. The role prepares food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets; maintains sanitation and food-safety standards; and keeps food storage areas organized and clean. The Lead Line Cook works with a manager on specials and menu variations and performs other duties as assigned. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, workplace sanitation and safety regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work as a team player.
Evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Nice To Haves

High school education preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
Keep food storage areas organized and clean.
Handle and store food items properly at the conclusion of each shift.
Rotate inventory properly.
Prepare food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
Work with the manager to create specials and other menu variations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
