About The Position

Jerry.ai is seeking a Lead, Lifecycle & Brand Voice to fundamentally change how the company communicates with its customers. The role will focus on transforming transactional messaging into value-additive, relationship-driven communication. The individual will be responsible for crafting compelling copy across various channels, including email, SMS, and in-app messages, with the goal of building trust, engagement, and community. This is a senior-level individual contributor role with the potential to build a team and expand creative initiatives in the future, such as large-scale campaigns and social media presence management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a heavy focus on copy and lifecycle marketing (email, SMS, social).
  • Experience working with consumer brands.
  • A portfolio showcasing both writing and creative craft.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to translate complex, dry, and stressful topics into engaging, human, and accessible copy.
  • Deep expertise in copywriting, audience development, and product positioning.
  • A great sense of the social media landscape and community dynamics (like Reddit).
  • Ability to take qualitative data and user pain points and turn them into resonant, empathetic marketing copy.
  • Experience in fast-growing startups and ability to champion the unmeasurable value of a great brand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Overhaul existing customer communications, including CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy, shifting from functional and direct to value-additive and relationship-driven messaging.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to understand customer needs and build trust and engagement.
  • Develop and build the brand's personality and voice across all organic surfaces in partnership with the CEO.
  • Craft compelling copy for various channels, including email sequences, push notifications, and social media (e.g., Reddit).
  • Shape the positioning and messaging for new product launches.
  • Pitch and run creative campaigns, such as giveaways.
  • Build and manage a team to handle organic go-to-market launches and social media presence with native channel expertise.
  • Talk to drivers on Reddit and engage in community discussions.
