About The Position

FieldBridge is looking for a Lead Laborer in Corpus Christi, TX. We offer weekly pay + benefits. This is a contract assignment of 6 months to 2 years with potential to convert to full-time. The role is 100% onsite with an immediate start. No certifications are required. We are seeking a safety-focused Lead Laborer to support plant maintenance, production, and site operations for a leading oilfield services company. Reporting to the Foreman, this role combines hands-on labor and heavy equipment operation with light leadership of lower-level craftsmen.

Requirements

• Heavy equipment operation experience
• Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedures
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety, including proper PPE use and active participation in safety programs
• Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up job sites
• Operate heavy equipment and support routine and turnaround plant maintenance
• Prepare sites, set forms, and pour, spread, and finish concrete
• Support receiving and shipping of materials and products
• Guide lower-level craftsmen and reassign work as directed by the Foreman
