About The Position

We are seeking to hire a general/excavator/laborer to operate equipment and worksite operations through manual labor, following architectural plans and guidance to ensure the job is properly completed. The ideal candidate has previous construction experience, a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Will also be required to work in manufacturing area at times.

Requirements

Pass pre-employment and random drug testing (Zero tolerance, drug-free workplace)
Must have valid driver's license, CDL helpful
Previous experience working in a construction environment desired
Strong communication skills with sales staff on projects
The ability to work well within a team environment
The ability to work in all weather conditions
Must be dependable, punctual and willing to work overtime and possibly out of town

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of machinery, such as excavator, auger, backhoe, bobcat plus any power tools or other industrial equipment as per job specifications
Responsible for all company equipment in/on company vehicles
Work closely with all employees on the job site and help as needed to keep the project running on schedule
Follow all necessary safety standards
Strong attention to detail
Prepare and install rebar or reinforcing wire, anchor bolts etc. and welding when necessary
Pour and finish concrete in forms according to specifications
Handle County Inspections at jobsite, if required
Wear hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves and any other PPE required
Calculate amount of concrete to be ordered per job site, if required
