Youth Athletes United is seeking Lead Instructors to coach TGA youth sports programs in Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball. The programs aim to make children's first sports experiences fun while teaching sports fundamentals, life skills, and healthy habits. Coaches use individual attention, a non-competitive approach, and positive reinforcement to help children succeed in a stress-free environment. Lead Coaches facilitate classes for 7–10 students ages 5–13, use the curriculum, and lead an Assistant Coach when one is assigned to a class larger than 10 students. Coaches are expected to be open to feedback, follow the TGA Coaching Manual, and attend additional training. New coaches can work 4–20 hours per week and earn up to $27 per hour. Classes are primarily held after school and on weekends. Locations include schools, parks, and recreational centers throughout Somerset and Hunterdon Counties; coaches may need to travel up to an hour to reach a class.
