About The Position

Lake Area Discovery Center (LADC) is hiring a Full-Time Lead Infant Teacher to join our high-quality early childhood education / childcare program serving families across the Twin Cities Metro. This role is ideal for an experienced infant teacher, childcare professional, or early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, collaborating with a strong teaching team, and engaging in ongoing professional growth. The Lead Infant Teacher will lead an Infant classroom (ages 6 weeks–~16 months) in a licensed childcare / daycare setting, providing nurturing, responsive care and supporting social-emotional development. This role involves collaboration with assistant teachers, aides, and support staff, and participation in a network of lead teachers and early childhood educators. The position includes paid daily prep time, planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and monthly lesson plans, and supporting a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment. The role also emphasizes ongoing professional development, early childhood training, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Must meet Minnesota DHS requirements for Lead Teacher
• Background in early childhood education, child development, childcare, or daycare
• Strong classroom management, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with infants or toddler care preferred
