About The Position

StarChild Academy, part of Endeavor Schools, is seeking a Lead Infant Teacher to support children’s learning, development, safety, and well-being. The teacher develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum, plans engaging activities, and monitors and documents children’s progress. The role includes creating a harmonious environment for children and fellow teachers, and communicating with parents and staff. Endeavor Schools offers educators a supportive environment, resources for creating positive learning experiences, education incentives, and career development opportunities. The position requires Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law; screening may be completed through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two to five years of prior experience working in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with the assigned age group.
Meet specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members.
Patience, collaboration, creativity, and passion for early childhood education.
Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Early Childhood Development or CDA certification preferred.
