Lead HVAC - Install Technician
About The Position
Southern Air NOLA is seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join their growing and dedicated installation team as a Lead HVAC - Install Technician. This role involves installing HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications, while also maintaining high customer satisfaction. The technician will stay up-to-date on current technologies, pre-measure job sites, properly connect equipment, and document all calls/jobs. Participation in safety training and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- 1-5 Years HVAC installation experience required
- HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school
- Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to handle heavy equipment
- Leading Install: 1 year (Required)
Nice To Haves
- EPA Type II (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the client may have
- Pre-measure job sites in order to properly prepare for installation
- Properly connect equipment
- Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
