About The Position

Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals with experience to help keep Ontario highways safe. This role offers year-round employment with long-term contracts and opportunities for career growth within a diversified company. The position involves winter and seasonal maintenance of Ontario highways using various trucks and heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Must possess a valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
• Must provide a copy of a 3-year driver’s abstract

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreperson with daily tasks including safety toolbox meetings, equipment inspection, and road condition inspection reports
• Support Foreperson in the planning of work to meet contractual milestones
• Monitor the quality of work performed by the crew
• Operate equipment on work sites as needed
• Help ensure health, safety, and environment related concerns are addressed promptly
• Work outside in all weather conditions
