  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Industry experience in wireless digital communications, modems, networking, and/or digital signal processing (DSP).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing in VHDL (preferred) or Verilog.
  • Experience implementing complex modem and/or DSP circuits in programmable logic using FPGA devices; equivalent ASIC design experience is applicable.
  • Experience in modem FPGA development, including discrete-time DSP and digital communications.
  • Experience with modem or high-speed DSP data paths, digital filters, FFTs, and error-correction codes such as Turbo or LDPC.
  • Experience with simulation, synthesis, and placement tools such as ModelSim, Synplicity, Xilinx Vivado/ISE, and/or Altera Quartus.
  • Experience with high-level synthesis (HLS).
  • Laboratory debug experience using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTs, and other complex measurement devices.
  • FPGA design experience using high-speed serial interfaces (3+ Gbps).
  • Experience with software and FPGA interfaces, memory controllers, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Experience with testbench architectures and working knowledge of Matlab, SystemC, C, and/or C++.
  • Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/Bitbucket and JIRA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop FPGA designs for advanced wireless digital communication and electronic warfare systems.
  • Contribute across the design lifecycle, from proposals and requirements definition through coding, simulation, synthesis, place and route, and verification testing.
  • Work on forward error correction, modulation, demodulation, digital filters, electronic warfare, networking, and industry-standard interfaces.
