Dexory is hiring a Lead Fleet Performance Engineer to build the function responsible for understanding fleet health, anticipating what the fleet will do next, and prioritizing what needs to be fixed. The role combines hands-on analysis of robot data and systems with leadership: hiring, coaching, and growing a team while working closely with Service, Engineering, Software, and V&V. The successful candidate will establish fleet-health measures and reporting, use logs and telemetry to identify and assess emerging issues, and ensure diagnostic data is captured well enough to investigate significant incidents. They will develop fleet alerts and pre-failure detection, manage configuration baselines and drift, improve fleet data quality and hardware-health tracking, and use fleet data to set preventive-maintenance intervals. In release-candidate analysis, they will provide evidence and recommendations to V&V, which owns the release decision. They will also maintain a register of the most significant failure modes and drive high-impact fixes with Engineering. In the first twelve months, the intended outcomes include trustworthy baseline metrics, useful alerts with a low false-positive rate, adequate diagnostic data capture, permanent elimination of at least two recurring failure modes, visible fleet configuration with detectable drift, and one or two reliability engineers hired and productive. Dexory describes its culture through four operating principles: Performance, Impact, Commitment, and One team. The company offers equal employment opportunities and prohibits discrimination and harassment in accordance with applicable local laws.
