About The Position

Confires Fire Services, an affiliated company of Guardian Fire Protection, is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to service, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. The role involves working in commercial buildings, responding to service requests, diagnosing malfunctions, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment to bring systems into compliance. Testing and inspections must follow NFPA and local code standards, and the technician is responsible for preparing accurate, timely inspection and service reports. A NICET certificate is preferred but not required.

Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on experience.
Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points.
Ability to be available on-call when scheduled.
Excellent attendance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

NICET certification.
Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair.

Responsibilities

Test and inspect fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
Respond to service requests and diagnose fire alarm system malfunctions.
Adjust, repair, or replace equipment as needed to bring systems into compliance.
Test and inspect fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA and local code standards.
Prepare accurate and timely inspection and service reports.

Emergency service calls have a 4-hour minimum paid at time-and-a-half.
