Requirements

Proven experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA and local fire codes.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Valid relevant certifications or licenses, such as NICET certification or a fire alarm license.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate fire alarm system installations, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
Supervise and mentor installation technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Conduct site assessments and prepare installation plans in collaboration with project managers.
Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with local codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, inspections, and compliance reports.
Ensure all work is completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
