About The Position

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to support its continued growth. The role involves installing fire alarm systems and access control equipment, reading plans and drawings, assisting with system point checks and troubleshooting, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Other duties may be assigned by the Company. MSS describes its culture as respectful, collaborative, and empowering.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience installing and/or testing, inspecting, and performing minor repairs on a variety of fire alarm systems, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA codes and regulations.
• Good communication skills for interfacing with customers.
• Experience working on commercial and institutional facilities.
• OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire fire alarm systems.
• Install access control equipment.
• Read plans and drawings.
• Support other technicians with system point checks.
• Assist in troubleshooting installations.
• Maintain customer satisfaction to support continued company growth.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company.
