About The Position

As a Lead Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading field service operations to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will utilize your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide and support field service teams while executing service tasks efficiently and effectively. You will report directly to the Field Service Manager and work from the Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will impact the operational success of field service activities, enhance customer experience through expert service delivery, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes and team performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field service roles with leadership responsibilities in building automation, fire systems and access controls.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, including sensors, control systems, and energy management technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex technical equipment in the field environment.
  • Experience with service management tools and software to document and track service activities efficiently.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in field service within building automation or similar industries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate in field service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor field service technicians to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems, fire systems and access controls.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize service operations and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during field operations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports on service activities and outcomes.
