About The Position

The Lead Fertilizer Dispatcher oversees the day-to-day operations of the dry fertilizer plant and manages the duties of its staff. The role focuses on logistics, inventory, customer service, delivery scheduling, and coordination of delivery and applicator employees. The position performs these duties in support of the company’s mission, vision, and goals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good math skills.
• Must have experience overseeing logistics operations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have good finger and leg dexterity.

Nice To Haves

• Agricultural experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics for the dry fertilizer plant.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels.
• Consult with customers about their needs and provide recommendations.
• Schedule daily deliveries and dispatch delivery employees.
• Coordinate and dispatch applicator employees.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and communicate any problems accordingly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Manage the duties of dry fertilizer plant staff.
• Perform all tasks with outstanding customer service.
